Our team of over 3,000 engineers, designers, planners, researchers and advisors work with more than 12,000 clients across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom.

In Canada and the US, Opus operates from a network of 16 offices and employs over 700 staff. We provide services on leading infrastructure projects for both the public and private sectors.

What sets us apart is our wealth of collective experience and the collaborative way we work across disciplines and with our clients: Opus projects are ‘powered by connected expertise’.

We offer fully integrated asset development and management services at all phases of the lifecycle including concept development, planning, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, rehabilitation and upgrading.

Our work spans eight key sectors:

In Canada and the US our core services are water, transportation and environmental engineering. As part of the Opus group in North America we also have a water, wastewater and environmental engineering consultancy, Opus DaytonKnight; and land surveying, engineering and environmental consultancy, Opus Stewart Weir.

Local knowledge, global expertise

We actively share knowledge and foster cooperation across our teams to bring a global best practice approach to problem solving and delivery. This means our clients benefit from local insights and global skills, whether we’re working with a team of 20 or 200 people.

We work closely with our clients to really understand their needs and aspirations, and deliver innovative and creative solutions for what are often complex design challenges.

We always strive for the best outcome for our clients. And above all, we are proud to be trusted partners in the creation of sustainable communities through the development and management of world-class infrastructure.
